AUTC BODY The courses in this department range all the way from general construction methods used in Auto Body building to the re- placement of auto body trim, and an orientation into shop and business management and human relations. The student is taught to repair high and low crowned panels, align body sec- tions, and the technique of realistically estimating the costs of repairing damages. Class members will learn all phases of metal preparation including sanding and masking. Instruction in door, hood and deck lid hardware and alignment, replacing windshield and back glasses, panel replacement procedures and front end sheet metal repair and alignment are included in this course with the student also learning to mix and match paint. ul' ' ,Ii RADIO AND TELEVISION TECHNOLOGY The first phase of this course covers the fundamentals of electronics, electromagnetic waves, Ohms Law, direct cur-' rent, alternating current capacitance and inductance are reviewed in detail. The second phase consists of an analysis of radio circuits, rectifiers, regulators, audio-amplifiers and the various types of oscillator circuits. The third section consists of actual repair and alignment of radio, using dif- ferent types of test equipment. Record players are studied and some time is spent on transistors. The last part of the course emphasized theory and servicing of color T.V.
