Not only was it the most ambitious of the light op- eras attempted by directors Corbett and Fritz, but the B r o a d w a y star, Lawrence Brooks, was signed for the male lead. - As in every such production, it is the cooperation of all con- Carol Fillmore Pat Gorman xi, by the leads, the evolution of the choreography by Miss Stockle, the patience while the various parts of the production are put together prior to the dress rehearsal-all these make up the annual light opera pre- sentation that is gaining fame throughout the San Ioaquin valley for its excellence.
