This club made its presence felt at COS this year through the activities of its members, the leadership of its president, Melvin Khachigian, and the guidance of Iohn Linn, its ad- visor. It was honored at a meeting of the local Kiwanis club which . sponsors the group, and in turn, honored certain members from the Kiwanis and VSHS Key club at the first of a series oi annual banquets. Under the advisorship of Ted Gibson, the club had frequent visits from Father McSweeney of St. Mary's parish in Visalia. They also took a trip to the snow in the winter and had a booth at the Inter-club Carni- val. equoia Chridfian je!AwAAila At the regular meetings held during noon hours the SCF members have heard several outside speakers and have seen motion pictures. They had a party with the Reedley College group similar to theirs. In ad- dition to meeting in various towns with seniors from the high school Bible clubs, several Bible study groups were formed at COS. 77

I, .i, Ii ,H--..i, M -, V N. mall? era The newest club on the COS campus is the CGS Wranglers, a group devoted to the art of bronc riding-at least a few of them do. The less brave members sit on the fence at Shady Acres, Saturday practice ground, and watch while die-hards bull-dog and rope. The femi- nine members do the fancy riding for the group.
