Field crops, us trees and vines are grown for laboratory students. X XJ It is natural that COS should stress agriculture since it lies in an area whose principal in- dustry is farming. Ag students may take courses in one of three major divisions: plant sci- ence, animal science, and agri- cultural mechanics. The COS farm is always included on the itinerary of visiting students from California Polytechnic at San Luis Obispo.
