Individual Guided Education was introduced this fall. The Lower School was organized into Unit 1 igrades 1,2, and 3h and Unit ll igrades 4 and Si. IGE was developed nationally and is in use at CPS because each. child needs to meet with his own suc- cesses. It uses learning programs ' designed for individual pupiEs with carefully defined learning objectives These goais are ex- plicitEy understood by the teach- er and pupil.
