However. Headla came back to tie the game on a luc break in the last quarter. Tony Flemi gained 102 yards. 0 AVONDALF A strong Avondale eleven made t' quick touchdowns and then held on hand the Rams their first defeat of I SPEISOII. The two R: touchdowns were scored on a l5 yard dash hy Richard Bolt and a runhack of an intercepted pass for 55 yards hy Ron: Cadora. 0 FAIRBURN The Rams stopped three Fairlvurn drives inside their 20-yr line to escape with a scoreless tie. The whole line deser' credit for their ability to stop Fairhurn when it counted, esp ially since a heavy rain prior to game time made the fit muddy and the ball-carriers slippery. 92
