Every part of our building is symbolic of some phase of our school life-some parts, more than others. But the columns are the most significant symbol of all. The graceful line of the geometric design-the link to an inspirational talk-a cold trek to a phys. ed. class-the try for a coke at Mr. Duke's. But as the columns stand for the constancy of school life, the clock marks the passing of time. It is, perhaps, the -most looked-at fixture in the school.
