FUREUJURD Sixteen years ago, the lVIount,s year book made its first appearance. The first Parapet recaptured and pro- longed memories dear to the graduates. To our class, as to the fifteen classes that have gone before us, The Parapet is a reminder of the best and most beautiful in our college days, For its very name is like the Mount- a challenge to the heights. The lVIount, which has turned our eyes away from the darkness and despair That all through our college years have threatened to subdue us, The Mount, which would not let us forg what most of our world has forgotten, That perfection of holiness and joy for which we are ultimately made, The Mount, which set our step so firmly upon the upward stair- This is the Moiint which the Paraipct will keep alive in our memories.
