The Neat Beats is the College High dance orchestra, which plays for school parties and dances. It is directed by Mr. Roberson. Neat Beats The Masque This organization consists of students who are interested in dramatics. The members presented a play in the spring contest.

Membership in the honorary society is based upon leadership, character, scholarship and service. Ivlembers must maintain the required 3.4 grade average. National Honor Society Junior Honor Society This organization is one of the few of its kind in the state. The Harmony and Melody Society is made up of students who are soloists in vocal and instrumental music. Members are from the Sophmore, Junior, and Senior Classes. H. A. M. S. A Capella Choir Members are selected from Girls' and Boys' Glee Clubs. The choir entered the spring contests, and sang for many programs both in College High and outside of school.
