Mr. John A. McCoy attended S.E. Mo. State College and Washington University. I-le has A.B. and B.S. Degrees in Education, and an A.M. Degree. Mr. McCoy teaches world his- tory, general mathematics, citizenship, geog- raphy, and American History. He sponsors the Pow Wow and is in charge of publicity for the school. Mrs. Carrie Hoffman Findley, Science Super- visor and Guidance Counselor, attended Val- paraiso U,, Indiana U., Missouri U., Southem Illinois U., Wooster College and S.E. Missouri State College, and has earned her A.B. and M.S. Degrees. She teaches courses in General Science and Biology, and sponsors the Future Teachers of America. William Joseph Uhls, better knovm as Coach, is the Coach of basketball and track. Coach Uhls attended S.E. Missouri State Col- lege and George Peabody College for teachers. l-le teaches Physical Education, and is co- sponsor of the Senior Class. William A. Ownbey, Supervisor of Mathe- matics, attended S.E. Mo. State College and the University of Missouri. Mr. Owmbey has a B.S. Degree in Education and an A.M. Degree. He teaches Mathematics in grades nine through twelve, and co-sponsors the Junior Class and the National Honor Society.

Mr. Edward J. Gilbert is Principal of Campus School. He has attended Central Missouri State College, Washington University, George Peabody College for Teachers, and Southern Illinois University. Mr. Emmett Duff is the Eighth Grade Super- visor. He attended the Southwest Mo. State College and the George Peabody College for Teachers. He has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in Education. Mr. Duff sponsors the extra- curricular activities of the Eighth Grade. Mrs. Jessie Henderson is the Seventh Grade Supervisor. She has attended Murry State Col- lege and received her B.S. in Elementary Edu- cation and an M.A. in Education. In addition to her teaching duties in the Seventh grade she sponsors the extra-curricular activities of that class. Mr. Ray W. Bumeson attended S.E. Mo. State College, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Illinois, earning a B.S. in Education and A.B. and M.S. Degrees. He teaches driver education, American History, American Government, and sociology. Mr. B sponsors the Student Council, the Golden Rule Traffic Club, and the Freshman Class.

Senior Supervisor of the English Department, Mr. Lealon Jones, attended the University of North Carolina and has A.B. and M.A. Degrees. He teaches English and is sponsor of the Sopho more Class and the Library. Miss Bernice Warren attended Southwest Mo State College, Colorado University, and Arkan- sas University. She has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. Degree. Miss Warren teaches geog- raphy, citizenship, publications, speech, and English IV. She sponsors Green Dragon, Thes- pians, Cheerleaders, and Redskin Review, and co-sponsors Senior Class and Pep Club. Mrs. Phyllis Joyce Scherle is an English Supervisor and teacher. She attended Southern Illinois University and has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. Degree in English. She teaches English I, Il, and III. She co-sponsors the Pep Cluh, the Junior Class, and the National Honor Society. Miss Dorothy Dickson, Music Supervisor, at- tended college at the University of Iowa and the Chicago Musical College. She has her B.A. and M.A. Degrees, and directs all glee Clubs and Teaches general music classes. She is also in charge of small ensembles, solos, and music for assemblies, concerts, and other oc- casions.
