The Gothic lettering and art symbolize all we owe the past for a proud tradition at College High. And this heritage, too, we will hand on to the fu- ture as one of our finest bequests. '63 Through the years the Pow Wow has progressed from a paper back pamphlet to a fine example of a high school yearbook. The first yearbook contained no pictures, only articles on the clubs, classes, and year's activities. Each year's staff has tried to im- prove the Pow Wow, and true to this tradition the 1958-'59 staff has increased the number of pages by 8, and added pictures of the officers and the Student Council Representatives of each class, as well as the attendants of the Princess and the Chief, and of the Varsity Queen. It has also used original art- work throughout the book, on the division pages as well as for the page headings. 3 ' i To the members of the Pow Wow organizations of the past, the 1958-1959 Pow Wow Staff extends its thanks for carrying on this tradition--To those of the future its hoped that the Pow Wow will always serve as a record of the year's activities, the memorable events, and the lasting friendships the students will always cherish. 25s ' Q W- ' w ' WNW, X r z d eff at K f A' 1' suv 6 5:1143 I Wai fu 7'9 -V : S Q3 12? w A W Q W Mr. Edward J.
