ENGLISH Mrs. Barrett Mrs. Becker DR. BOHN: The mind of man knows no bounds, as he searches for answers to the unknown. The quest began centuries ago; it continues now as it will continue as long as man exists. Nearly five hundred years ago Columbus discovered a new world— only the other side of his earth. Today Aldrin and fellow-astronauts discover outer space on the way to the moon. Discovery penetrates every area of man ' s thinking and activity. Shakespeare pin-pointed this drive beautifully in Hamlet ' s last soliloquy: ' Sure he that made us with such large discourse, hooking before and after, gave us not That capahility and god-like reason To fust in us unused.
