IN MEMORY OF Aristotle once wrote, What Is a Friend? He answered with the statement A Single Sole Dwelling in Two Bodies. So does describe Dr. Moreinis and his relationship with us. His first year as Dean for Student Affairs was our first year at Columbia. We struggled together. His understanding, his helpfulness, his friendliness and warmth, directly helped those of us in our individ- ual times of need. Dr. Abel Moreinis was a good man and a good man is the best friend and therefore soonest to be chosen, longer to be retained and indeed, never to be parted with. DR. S. ABEL MOREINIS

DEDICATIONS Dr. Davis is a special man. His vivacious lectures and enthusi- astic instruction in pedodontics made the transition from text- book assignments to clinical situations as easy as possible. He always lent an ear to any problems encountered. As Director of our Senior Practice Program, Dr. Davis again shines. He has made our senior year as pioneers of this new program a very enjoyable learning experience. His impeccable sense of organization, creativity, humor, and leadership are large- ly responsible for making the program a huge success. In short. Dr. Davis is a man for whom our class holds deep respect. We are proud to become his colleagues and are proud to have known this special human being (in spite of his taste in socks). Dr. Zane is an instructor with boundless energy; a rolemodel for students and faculty alike. Although he is the Group Leader and a prosthetics instructor for Group III (of the Senior Practice Program), he frequently can be found with students from other groups, tirelessly working with those who ask for his help. He is known as the practical dentist on the clinic floor, always eager to teach. The words dedicated worker accurately describe Dr. Zane. Students learn new techniques with him as he often goes beyond the scope of what is taught in the pre-clinical syllabus. It is not uncommon to see him stay beyond 4:30 PM to assist and advise in clinical procedures. Dr. Zane is a dentist who commands respect; a real dentist!
