The beautiliul -l-0 acre main campus is easily accessible on UB. 17 just north of historic lilizabeth City. the lirsl capital ofthe state. The Pasquotanlt Riter flows behind thc campus. which consists ot three large buildings designated A. B. and C. Building A consists of administration oflices. classrooms. laboratories. a bookstore. cafeteria. and student center. B building houses the business labs. classrooms. a lecture auditorium and the learning resources center QLRCI. The LRC includes audio-visual materials and equipment along with a well stocked library and learning lab. Most of the college's occupational programs including machine shops. electronic laboratories. automotive shops. tnusic rooms. and physics and art labs are located in C building. Additional college programs and facilities include extension centers in surrounding counties. classroom facilities for the Practical Nursing program. the Dare County Campus. and the Continuing Education program which includes the Adult Basic Education Program and the Bridges Program. COA is in the process of erecting yet another structure. Building D, Noel L. Coltrane designed this structure and it is being built by Silas S. Kea and Sons. under the supervision of Dee Rollings.
