President of COA since 1975, Dr. Chesson began his tenure here as a biology instructor in 1964. He is well- versed in every facet ofthe college and has strong leanings toward what will be best for the most important people at COA - the students. Much has been accomplished during the Chesson presidency, the longest in the history ofthe college. The move to the new campus in l980 marked a tuming point for the college, programs and facilities have grown steadily since. The latest addition to the campus, the COA Community and Small Business Center, is scheduled for completion in 1988, and will provide a much-needed facility for the people of our service area. ,... -5 Always ready to listen.
