THE COLLEGE GAME Equipment consists of the enclosed Gameboard with spaces representing the various phases of your encounter with college life. There are two Diceg various Tokens, including Herman Hippie, Andy Administtator, jacob Jock, Helen Homecoming, and Sonny Slow, and a stack ofexcuses. Other essentials include your class schedule and a considerable amount ofpatience. The winner of the game is the player who can complete the game with the least amount of effort or trouble. Or maybe the winner is the player who gets the best education and manages to become involved in the largest amount of extracurricular activities. The loser is the player who tries to slide by with a bunch of bull. Or maybe the loser is the player who cannot successfully complete the game, in which case he is labeled a dropout and must obtain a new attitude before he is allowed to play again. To play the game, each player must have in his possession a high school diploma or G.E.D. and also must have stood in line the required' two hours attempting to get his I.D. picture taken. The player may then place his token on the board and may move the number ofspaces indicated by a roll of the dice. There is no limit on the number ofplayets who can play. lfa player's token lands on a space with directions printed on it, he must follow those directions. If his token lands on an Excuse space, he must draw an excuse card and follow the directions printed on the card. Ifa player fails to follow directions, he will be sent before the campus Disciplinary Committee. Ifa player is injured while playing fsuch as spraining his wrist while rolling the dicej he will be taken care of by the RN's and LPN's in, which case he may not be able to return to play. Please maintain courtesy and patience while playing, Tipping over the gameboard or scattering equipment is a sign of immaturity and' may result in action by the Disciplinary Committee. Remember it's not just a game! EXCUSES PROFESSOR SMART. Sorry I'm late for class. As I was walking down Riverside Ave- nue, a clog bit my leg, then a car splashed water on me, then a bee stung me, and a squirrel chased me away from the school. DEAR TEACHER, Sorry, I didn't do well on my test. Yesterday I lost all of my notes, my book, my clipboard and paper, and my ink pen. To top it off my girlfriend mme by last night and l just couldnft get rid of her. COACH, I can't possibly run the cross country today. I have pleurisy, an ingrown toenail, athletes foot, a trick knee, a floating rib, psori' asis, acne, and a bad hangnail, T . 5 M 1' In i :U Llll ru l 1' if ,l l Y YH l l it 1 li r START
