VICTORY IS IN THE At the beginning of the fall of 1982, there was a rock music group by the name of Sur- vivor that produced a hit song The Eye of the Tiger. The song described a tough, rugged fighter who had the determination and never- say-die attitude that helped him prevail as a winner. This was the theme song of the ’82 Tiger football team, and it signified what the Colfax team was all about. They played hard, they played with determination, and they were winners. Four times during the '82 season the Tigers battled back after being behind, to overcome their opponents, and take the eventual victory! It possibly was this desire to win, and determination to carry home the victory that led the team to a fine 8 win, 1 loss record.
