This year the tigerettes, coached by Dale Terhune, came through the season with a 12 won and 8 loss record. The top scorer for the season was Shirley Shu- ey with 2li2 points followed by Charlotte Bartlett with 217, Theresa Brown with 13li, Janice Tomlonovic 9I1» JoAnn Howell, bij., Joan Meckley 39» Carolyn Huntrod 19» Aim Carlson 21, Twyla Dodd 17, Lucille Rorebeck 2. The guard positions were hand- led quite capably this year by Kay Muck, Pat Case, 3ernice Lenox, Beverly DeGraff Myrna Muck, Joyce Graham, Donna Tomlonovic, Sharon Roberts, JoAnn Franz, ana Shar- on Tomlonovic. The girls lost the second round of the county tournament to Prairie City 51- 33, but came back with a fighting spirit and determination to beat Carlisle 5I-I+7 in the first round of the sectional tournament, but lost to Altoona in the Semi- Finals 52-14.3 and then went down before powerful Hartford 33-3q. ih the consolation.
