COA CH ROGER NELSON Because of his understanding of each individual student and his intelligent leadership, both scholastically and athletically, Mr. Roger Nelson has proved himself to be one of the most important factors in helping the students of Colfax High School acquire the right attitude and start in life. Only last year, the boys' basketball team placed fourth in the Class A division in the state--not to mention the fact that two years ago the girls team won a second-place trophy in tournament play-offs in the county. xefzga A Q SALUTA TORIAN PAT STAFFORD This award is won by the student of the senior class who has the second highest grade average for the four years of high school. Pat acquired this honor with an average of 96.5. To win either of the two top awards should make anyone proud of himself. Others who qualified for the salutatory award are: Larry Morgan--average 95.1, Phillip Atkins-- average 94.5, and Jo Westmoreland-average 93.6. VA LEDI C TORIAN LINDA LEWIS The valedictory award is an award won by the student in the Senior class who has attain- ed the highest grade average during four years of high school. This is perhaps the highest honor one can acquire and one to be very proud of. Linda won this honor with an average of 97. TQ? . tg! SE IO
