MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU CClass Songj May the Good Lord bless and keep you, Whether near or far away, May you find that long awaited golden day today. May your troubles all be small ones, And your fortune ten times ten, May the Good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again. May you walk with sunlight shining, And a blue-bird in every tree, May there be a silver lining, Back of every cloud you see. QCHORUSQ Fill your dreams with sweet tomorrows, Never mind what might have been, May the Good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again. May the Good Lord bless and keep you, Whether near or far away, May the good you wish for others shine on you today. May your heart stay tuned to music, That will cheer the hearts of men, May the Good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again. May you long recall the rainbows, Then you'll soon forget the rain, May the warm and tender memories Be the ones that will remain. THE ROAD NOT TAKEN Two roads diverged il. a yellow wood, And sorry I could not trave' both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowthg Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear, Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, fClass Poemj Zl uf U In yi. s And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black, Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to'way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. Robert Frost

LAST WIL We, the Senior Class, hereby will and bequeath a few of the possessions we have acquired during our twelve years of study at Colfax School. These possessions, we feel, will be of great help to the rising Seniors of '63. Article I We, The Senior Class, leave our gratitude and appreciation to Miss Everhart for the help she has given us in preparing the '62 edition of our yearbook, and to Mrs. Streetman who has been a great help to us since she came to Colfax. Article II I, Nancy Atchison, will my friendly ways to Peggy Welborn, provided that she speaks to every- one, everyday, with the exception of Donny. I, Larry Atkins, will to Olivia Atkins my ability to get through 12 years of school without buy- ing a single sheet of paper. I, Philip Atkins, will my ability to be the Most Talented boy in the Senior Class to Jay Motsinger. Always remember that the show must go on, Jay. I, Harold Bame, bestow my courteous ways to Floyd Shields. Use them well, Floyd. I, Jewell Edwards, bestow my quiet ways upon Ronnie Beeson and Vicki Shields. I, Frankie Fulk, will my ability to sing if I have Ilene beside me, to Brenda Hester and Martha Alley. I, Ilene Fulk, will my ability to state my beliefs and hold to them to Hank Gribble and Flora LaRue. I, Jimmy Hedgecock, will my unused bus license to Joe Thompson. Make better use of them than I did, Joe. I, Wayne Lawson, will my ability to get married, work, and still goof off at school to Lee Calloway. I, Linda Lewis, bestow to Bonnie Gossett and Elaine Whitaker my ability to create new and different ways of styling my hair.
