CLASS PROPHECY THE EW COLD FACTS THE NEWS WHEN IT'S NEWS FRANK STEADMAN, publisher and owner Volunqe XLVIII, May 28, 1978 SPACESHIP MAKES FIRST LANDING IN COLFAX This morning your editor had the pleasure of watching the SPACE SHIP glide to its first landing in Colfax, and then interviewing several persons aboard. After the welcoming crowd and crew had left he chatted with MICK DAR- NOLD, designer-pilot of the huge air- craft, and JUDY RUBIN, the co-pilot. Both were very pleased with the per- formance of the ship and delighted to be back in Colfax where they hope to greet their many classmates whom they have not seen since graduation. Chief JIM MARTIN accompanied them for security reasons. In the crowd leaving the fabulous new theater owned by JON SCHIER- MAN, CHERYL DOTY, who is the dietician at the new high school, was seen with LARRY EMERSON who still thoroughly amuses himself with his own jokes. Also in the group was LUCILLE AIKEN, PenPal Champ of the world. She has just received a let- ter from BONNIE HARLOW on the Space Base. Bonnie says she just doesn't see how she gets all of those men to date her. fConfidentially, neither can GLEN LaMARj. ROBERT STRA- VENS left the theater lot in his atomic powered Rocket which he got in a trade with the government for his very expensive antique Model-A. The gov- ernment wanted the AU so much it also threw in the Secretary of State, PAT JOHNSON, as a permanent fix- ture for the Rocket.
