Their's the faith that was rewarded- Faith in man and God. Massive piles of stone and steel Rise now in their meadows, And a million twinkling lights Dispel the evening shadows. But more precious to the pioneers Than these marks of power and gain, Are the homes that dot the valleys And the fields of golden grain.
