A picturesque glimpse of a Colerain winter won- derland. Kenny Brooks retired in 1978 after many years of dedicated work as the custodian at Colerain. The weather this year was as pre- dictable as Cincinnati weather could ever be. The adage, lf you don't like the weather in Cincinnati, wait a few minutes, and it will change, held true this year. The severe weather warnings first predicted had not materialized by Christmas. Students' and teachers' moods were unpredictable this year and seemed to change as quickly as the weather. The sudden appearance of the sun during a previously cloudy day could raise the spirits almost as much as the seldom heard phrase, no homework tonight! The temperature inside the building could indeed seldom be accurately forecast from room to room. ln some rooms we braved near freezing tem- peratures only to find ourselves roast- ing alive in another. Should we dress for hot, cold or inbetween? Many students bundled themselves up to stay warm inside the school as well as out in the brisk cold. Sophomores taking a tour of Colerain on a warm summer day. Many students were seen practicing on the foot- ball fields their routines on a nice cool day.
