II3 I37 I55 1 It VXI Y' FAC U LTY Superintendent Elxerly' Hamrnack was horn in Evansville, Indiana, and graduated from Pride Consolidated School, Clay, Kentucky, as vale- dictorian of his class. ln 1931 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wlestern Kentucky' State College. He received a Master of Arts degree from the Liniversity' of South Dakota in 1932. From 1932 until 1938 he was principal of the Hortons Gap High in Western Kentucky. For four years he was district supervisor for the W.P.A.. 1'ladisonv'iIle, Kentucky. Hrs next education positron was as principal of Nortanville 4Kv I H1 h he vvas principal at 1vI0I'r.3llflC1d. Kentuckv for three years 'Nlr Hammack moved to this area in 1946 as principal of H1,,hland H1 h School in Ft Thomas Kentucky ln 1949 he accepted the posi tion as superintendent of Colerain Township Schools Since that time the school has ,rovvn from 100 enrollment to the present day size of over four thousand students a krnderbarten has been created eight hond issues and six operatmb levies have been passed a record un equallcd in Ohio EBFRLX HANINIACK Superintendent ADMINISTRATION Principal Edmond Hammond a native of Lancaster Kentucky gradu ated from Paint Lick Hrhh School in 1934 He receiv ed a Bachelor of Science dc ree from Eastern Kentucky State College ln 1959 For three years he tfrurht at Buena Vista H1 h School in Herrincton Lake Kentucky After scrvrn in the armed serv ICCS he held a positron vuth the ljeclcral Rescue Bank and Crosley Corporation before returnln to teaclrm at Colerain Llementary School in 1946 After three years he acccptcd the positron of principal at Sprmbdale IRCLCIYIIIP his Master of Lducation decree from the University of Cincinnati rn 1932 he rcturned to Colerain as hr h school principal 'XI1 Hammond has seen the lu h school more than triple in size while servin in this position I2 EDNIOND HAMMOND Principal -Ar- fr-r-v S-, fl M.
