9' ji. - m +31 The Unammous Declaratuon of the Sen1or Clas of 1952 C H S When 1n the course of school events lt becomes necessary for the Sen1or Class to d1ssolve the educat1onal bonds wh1ch have connected lt to the other classes, .md to assume the dut1es of c1t1zensh1p for wh1ch the1r school l1fe has prepared them a decent respect to the op1n1on of the other classes requ1res that they should transcr1be th1s h1story leadlng up to the1r graduatxon We the Sen1or Class of 1952 entered the halls of C H S 1n the fall of 1948 feellng a bxt apprehens1ve but eager to beg1n our hmgher educatlon Our class elected Russ Foreman presxdent Ray Stentz v1ce presrdent Joyce Gerald secretary and Norman Arleth treasurer to govern us durmg our f1rSt sess1on of school Our choos1ng and rece1v1ng of class pms h1ghl1ghted our Freshman year As our second sess1on convened we elected as class Tom Burton secretary and Nancy Theobald as treasurer We had many athletes on the var1ous teams and one cheerleader yellmg them on to v1ctory As Jun1or statesmen we began our thlrd sess1on by electxng as presldent Bob Schne1der Walt Zoellner v1ce pres1dent R1chy Me1ster secretary and Nancy Theobald agam as treasurer Besxdes our athletes several Junlors had leads 1n the operetta Our Jr and Sr Prom held 1n the gym hxghhghted the year s act1v1t1es Walt Zoellner and Marlene Stre1thorst were the Jr Cand1dates for Krng and Queen of the Sen1or Xmas Dance Takmg our honored places as Sen1or statesmen we chose or our govern1ng body Walt Zoellner pres1dent Russ Foreman v1ce pres1dent Sherry Hochsche1d secretary and Nancy Theobald as treasurer The Kmg and Queen for the SnowBall were Joan Fetzer and Walt Zoellner both Sen1or cand1dates Our class had top athletxc honors and erght Senxors held leads 1n the operetta And for the support of th1s declarat1on and w1th a fxrm rehance on what the future holds for us We mutually pledge to each other our L1ves our Fortunes and Our sacred Honor ?s I W ffl!!
