Pelkey. stuoent COl1l1Cll The main objective of the Student Council is to act together with the faculty to help the stu- dents as individuals and as a body to enjoy and improve our school. Our Council is a member of the WASC and four members attended the meeting this year at Superior. The Installation of Officers was presented to the student body to acquaint them with the Council members. This year the Council made the arrangements for Homecoming, Red Cross Drive, Polio Drive and Auction, Clothing Drive, Hungarian Relief Collection, Student Break, Hall Moniters, Christmas Program, locker inspection and the Pen Point Party. Record dancing was sponsored for the students enjoyment after basketball games and the Cotmcil planned the schedule for each Friday afternoon schedule. Council members visited other schools and also arranged for Cole- man High School students to appear on Teen Time on WBAY T, V, K, I ' Q.
