The four seniors playing their last basketball season at Coleman are Don Carlson, George Feidorowicz, Paul Evan, and Ralph Johnston. The co- captains elected by the team were Paul Evan and George Feidorowicz. Due to excitement and perhaps a little unorganization, we lost our first two games. In our third game, against Preble, we won a thrilling contest by a one point margin. The final score of our first victory was Coleman 55, Preble 54. Although perhaps a little weak on the offensive side, Coleman has one of the best defensive units in the M-O Conference. Opponents have a small earned-point average against the fighting Cougars. Despite our record ot wins and losses, Cole- man scored over the season 134 points to 141 for the opposition, most ot which were teams with one or two seasons behind them. There were several outstanding records made by the Cougar wrestlers, most im- pressive being that made by freshman Jim- my White in the 120 pound class who went through the regular season undefeated in seven matches. Ralph Peterson had a re- cord ot six wins and one draw: Sylvan King, 5-2, Leroy Cudnoski 4-1-1. Cary Bunk- er and Ken Patz, wrestling at 157 and 147 pounds, each had 3-4 records, though Bunk- Page er wrestled out of his class three times.
