GSlVl,s are responsible for GSEC CSWJ Elroy Newton the operation and maintenance of the main propulsion gas turbines, ship's ser- vice gas turbine gen- erators, main reduc- tion gears, propul- sion shafting, and associated equipment such as pumps, l l l valves, oil purifiers, and heat exchangers. They also perform administrative tasks related to gas turbine propulsion system operations and maintenance.
