Alter spending Tuesday night in Alexandria, La, they arrived in New Orleans on Wed- nesday. That night they went to the Fountain Lounge in the Roosevelt Hotel, While in New Orleans they went out to Lake Pontchartrain and a few went swimming, some ir1 jeans and shirts, Leaving New Orleans, they drove along the Gulf and stopped in Gulf- port to go boat riding, It was the second trip out on a boat down South for a few, as some went down the Mississippi on the steamboat, The President. On Saturday moming when leaving Natchez they drove by some old plantation homes and on Sunday moming while still in l-lot Springs, Ark, , they went through the alligator farm and up to the top of the mountain in l-lot Springs Natio- nal Park, A few saw the hot baths, By the time they hit Tulsa every- one was ready to come home. Mon- day was a long day, it seemed, hav- ing a flat tire in Ponca City, which delayed them about an hour. The bus was met and escorted into town by a siren, honking of homs and the yelling of a busload of tired but hap- py Seniors. While in New Orleans they went on a IOUI of the city, hiring a guide. On Monday they stopped in Clare- more, Okla. , and visited the Will Rogers Memorial. On the whole, they reported hav- ing a lot of fun and seeing beautiful scenery on one of the best Senior trips ever taken, JUNIOR HIGH unizfr glll SI IARON BREWER President CXROLYN IIEINTZ Vice President BONNIE TUC KER Secretary - Treasurer JIM EDD LEWIS TOM LUSE EVELYN BURKHALL BONNIE SMITH DELBERT WALLACE ELLEN PURCELL NORMA MCDOWELL BARBARA KITTELL 4 no X: 'x If i o---v 'i off' IVAN SCHOLLE DOROTHY KESSEE CHARLES WEBER PATSY SCHOLLE KENNETH CHILCOTE IERRY SMITH IOHNITA PEPPERD BOB MCDOWELL ROGER BEAN LOUISE YOUNG HM HERD so 19' T-'Q fi Xff X 1 rv... 116 NH TZ? ex, , , l 1, Q, 3 . fi. ff ' if 0 '5- -as a 8 006 'C X.-- ,.a- 1 ' '-of .
