We came from the nearoy ranches, farms, and of course, this fair city. The first day of high school was an amusing, but very confusing day. This class, not liking great changes has Continued to be amusing and confusing The officers of the outstanding freshman class of 1947-1948 were: Eleanor Jackson President, Erma Wilson, Vice-President, Helen Morris, Secretary, Don Kittell, Treasurer. Then as our freshman days ended and our summer vacation was completed, we came back as wisened sophomores. That year Carolyn Peterson was President, Erma Wilson, Vice-President, Gene Hewett, Sec- retary, Shirley Melia, TreaSur2l': BOl'1it3 Hoofer, Reporter. Finally the day came when we could proudly say, I'm an upperclassman. Jim Swisher was elected President, Willetta Murphey, Vice-President, Jacquelyn Can- field, Secretary-Treasurer, Larry Waller, Reporter. This year was filled with wonder- ful events such as our Junior play Broth er Goose a comedy which to our notion was very entertaining also an important event of the year was the Junior Senior Banquet with the theme Look For the Sliver Lining The center piece was a bub bling fountain with real water and furnish ing the background of the stage was a large piece ofsheet music withour theme for the title. . The officers elected for our final year were: Jim Swisher, President, Eleanor Jackson, Vice-President, Jacquelyn Can- field, Secretary-Treasurerg Larry Waller, Reporter. Twenty-six members are racking their minds for ways of raising money, so that we may venture forth on our senior trip at the close of this year. Yes, now, we are in our glorious senior year, looking forward to another good play, Tish , a Junior-Senior Banquet, to which this time we willbe the honoredguests, but most of all, we are awaiting the time of our graduation, complete with caps, gowns, and diplomas.
