Coldwater Hrgh School The reason rt was berng held rn Florrda rs that Ronnre Frscher and hrs renowned band had the top spot rn the nrght club act Hrs featured srnger rs soprano Margaret Brrkmeyer The frrst ones to arnve were Mr and Mrs Paul Sternke and therr four chrldren Mrs Stemke rs the former Margre Wuebker and rn her spare trme acts as secretary to her executrve husband Also workrng for her husband rs Ronnre Gross who rs an accountant As I came rnto the lobby I heard Mary Lynn Oppenherm tellrng of the advantages of nursrng at Good Samarrtan Hosprtal rn Dayton Wrth these words Pattr Gross Irene Beumer and Joan Fortkamp all put rn good words for therr respectrve hosprtals Rrta Wendel then told them that she was mrrsrng at Hamrlton Hosprtal Also workrng there as an X ray technrcran rs Vera Whrte Just then two well known sports personalrtres appeared on the scene They were Herb Bruns and Dale Klosterman Herb rs now playrng football for the Cleveland Browns Hrs coach rs Marvrn Post Dale plays baseball for the Crncrnnatr Redlegs A boomrng sound was then heard outsrde It was Just Brll Gerse rn one of hrs home made rockets whrch he had launched for the moon but rt accrdently dropped off at Mramr Beach When Brll takes lrfe serrously he rs a prlot for Pan Amerrcan Two of hrs stewardesses are Lrnda Oberholzer and Margre Muhlenkamp Before takrng off for Mramr Beach they stopped off and prcked up Joan Schoen Shrrley Zahn Delores Rauh and Rose Ann Huber All these four grrls do rs travel from place to place Jerry Dalk and Bob Tangeman, owners of the famed Frx rt and Break rt Shop, Just came rnto the hotel Also comrng rn were Dennrs Haslrnger and Don Gehle They are both Jet prlots for the Arr Force When they get rn trouble all they have to do rs radro the radro engrneer Don Jackson Actrng as Don s secretary rs Margaret Homan A pau of marrred grrls then showed up They are Beverly and Barbara Klrnger Barb has one small son and Beverly rs the proud mother of srx chrldren I decrded to go up to my room before meetrng any more people When I got there I lrfted up the phone and draled Room Servrce Much to my surprrse there was a famrlrar vorce at the end of the lrne It was none other than Judy Fella After a nrce rest I went outsrde my room and saw a large group of people huntrng for therr rooms Leadrng the group was Teresa Eckstern, the caretaker of a chrldren s home Some of the other persons wrth her were Marlene Krreg and Charlene Muhlenkamp They are the secretary and receptronrst respec trvely of the home Also wrth them were Jerry Rose a medrcal doctor and hrs nurses Barbara Synck and Nrta Bonrfas Thomas Bruggeman and Connre Hoyrng then showed up Tom rs a lawyer rn Washrngton and does specral work for the Presrdent Wrth Tom were hrs four pretty secretarres Mary Jane Bemard Marrlyn Dues Janet Hoyng, and Mary Agnes Sudhoff Connre rs now the head of the Englrsh Department at the Unrversrty of Dayton Barbara Salm her secretary accompanred her there Clarence Hoenrng now edrtor of Trmes Magazme came down to cover the reunron Hrs latest fea ture that won world acclarm was the lrfe story of Brll Fox an Army general Down rn the lobby I heard Jerry Bruns and Ronald Mangen entertarnrng the people rn the same fashron as Dean Martrn and Jerry Lewrs drd several years before they ever started Vrc Brllerman came rnto the lobby rn a gold studded Jacket When questroned about rt he replred I took the land deeds I got from Quaker cereals and went to the Yukon to frnd my tmy strrps of land Q There Just happened to be gold on all ten of them We almost drdn t make rt, rs what I heard Mark Erlerman say as he came rnto the hotel Mark Vemre Klosterman, and Mary Jean Schmrt are now the owners of a hart stylrng shop Mark and Vemre are barbers and Mary Jean a beautrcran The reason they were late rs because Vugrl Muhlenkamp now a carpenter, came rn at the last mrnute and wanted a harrcut The manager of Pet Mrlk Just made hrs entrance He rs Thomas Hoenrng Wrth hrm rs hrs wrfe the former Connre Lrnneman Eugene Mrller and Harold Koesters are employed at Pet Mrlk Gene rs a crvrl engrneer and Harold a truck dnver Wrlfred Hretkamp and Jerry Muhlenkamp both sell ther: mrlk to Pet, Working as offrce grrls there are Carolyn Dues, Mary Jane Brockman Charlene Krrk, Geneva Wurt, Sharon Smrth and Madelrne Braun, Srnce all stxty four members of the class were there, everyone was qurte happy and they began to renew old acquaintances and talk of the good old days when they were ut school, And so ended the reunron, a happy occasron
