SENIORS BUSY YEAR SEEMS VERY SHORT For the past four years, the Class of 6o has been working to attain the title seniors Now that they have reached their goal, they can look back on four exciting but busy years of school life, Revenue to finance such things as the senior trip and the memorial chiefly came from paper drives, leaf-rakes, spon- soring Friday Night dances, and the concession stand. A new spring project was taken into effect in the spring of 1959 when Val Hawkins came up with the idea of a car- nival. This year, Roger Mathews, president, also put this idea into effect. On March 19, the seniors enjoyed a week's trip to New Yorlg and Washington, D. C. This class is the first group to complete their four years of high school in the new building. 5 BOYS AND 5 GIRLS COMPOSE TOP TEN FIRST ROW: E. Harpharn, H. Leavenworth, K. Seaman, S. Carver, S. Fuller. SECOND ROW: G. Molitor, R. Mathews, D. Lockwood, J. Rice, P. Lindner. Faculty members selected the top ten of the 1960 senior Chosen by the faculty as ideal girl and ideal boy class by utilizing a 4 point system as in the past. Points were Sharon Carver and Roger Mathews. They were are only given for full credited academic courses which selected on the basis of citizenship. Both participated in are averaged per semester.
