611105, X is . . if 'T' Bowling, Dances, and Dlsplay 9 0 A I Window Add to Year s Pleasures 9 I . o 9 f i O , 0 The mos' successful dance for Coldwater High School students in a good many years was the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y sponsored Valen- tine Formal held at the Masonic Temple on Saturday night, February I6. More than 90 young couples and I5 faculty members and their wives or husbands danced to the music of Jack Braun's Band from Michi- gan State University. AN ACTION SHOT CAUGHT AT THE BOWLING ALLEY ONE SATURDAY AFTERNOON, AS A PART OF THE RECREATION The annual Christmas dance was held this PROGRAM- year' by both freshmen and sophomores in both the recreation room and the gym with a choice of round or square dancing. The Elk's Temple was the scene of a community teen-age dance during Christmas vacation. More than 80 students took part in the city recreation department's Saturday bowling program for high school people. Dave Demarest's team topped the league standings at the Coldwater Recreation Center with Jim Curtiss' and Bob Teeter's squads placing second and third, respectively.
