Me Sopfzomore Class 'l'he Sophomores certainly adjusted themselves quickly to their environment for they took to Senior High like ducks take to water. After be- ing welcomed by the Sophomore Reception, they came hack with a grand Mid-Winter Frolic such as you've never seen before. Along' with dancing, games and a movie for entertainment, they had to their credit, the girl with the Gift for Gab , Colleen Ilaschcr. Not being: satisfied with one out- stnmling achievement, they displayed their ingen- uity again by sponsoring the Friday nite dances in the gym. The class of '44 chose as their officers, Bill Cooper, President: Bill Newberry, Vice Presidentg l'olly Walker, Secretary: and .Ierry Fair, Treasurer. Jerry Smith was the representative of this large class of 140 students on the commission. Acting as advisers were Hertiand Sibley and Dorothy llnrrell. ng fit ln ll, ...' i 'EE K5 sf' WN 4 o y
