NAVY Hrsrornf f.In our first year lb the great expanses we were fifty-four Navy blue strong, The first week we almost changed the Navy's color from blue to green, The Admirals, to keep us from fihking or 'ialling overboard, were Miss Bryant and Mr. Welch. The5L1eutenants and Ensigns for our first year were: I Joanna Massmore--President Andrew Wetzel---eV1ee-President Margaret Frisbieedeeretary Our second year we had the pleasure of initiating the Coast Guard into the large ocean expanses. This year our Lieutcnants and Enslgns were promoted and now we have Miss Kern and Miss Peck as Commandin Officers. Some of the weaker seamen eould not pass the strict examination and our enrollment dropped to forty-seven, Our leaders were: Andrew Wetzel ---- President Luan Carnahan ---s Vice-President Ann Harrison ----- Secretary Margaret Fr1sb1e1Treasurer Our Junior year we again droppedfnow to thirty- eight members, The requirements were getting stricter However, of the members, we had eight in Glee Club, nine in the Band, and three in the l1brary.'
