INTRODUCTION The Zodiac is an imaginary belt in the heavens, including the paths of the moon and all the principal planets, and having as its middle line the ecliptic, or sun's path. In 2100 B.C. the Chaldean astronomers divided the zodiac into twelve parts called signs and representing the twelve reappearances a year of the full moon. The constellations, with the appropriate symbols, are as follows. Aries, Rain Taurus, Bali Gernini, Twins Cancer, Crab Leo, Lion Virgo, Virgin Libra, Balance Scorpio, Scorpion 'T' 'cs' It za Sagittarius, Archer Az Capricorn, Goat Aqaariirs, Water-Bearer Piscesg Fishes AMD 'VIA' 'H- March 12 April 20 May 21 June 22 july 25 August 23 September 25 Gctober 24 November 22 December 22 january 20 February 19 Our life at Colby began on September under the sign of Balance. According to the ancients, the sign of the Crab in june marked the time when the sun appeared to move backwards. For us, june has a different meaning. It is the month of commencement, the time of moving forward into a new life which will be more meaningful because of our years at Colby.
