D gwlge i-voR1UM gf- M-iraqi 1 FOOTBALL Last season Cohoes High School had a football team which was indeed worthy of representing the school on the gridiron. Although the record they compiled is not a perfect one it compares more than favorably with the records of former teams of Cohoes High School. We sincerely hope future teams will strive to live up to the record of this year's team. SCHEDULE Sept. 23-Cathedral 0 C. Sept. 30-C. C. H. S. 6 C. Oct. 7-Philip Schuyler 32 C. Oct. 14-Saratoga 6 C. Secretary In thc fall of 1936, the girls interested in sports organized the Girls' Athletic Association, more commonly known as the G.A.A. In 1938 the G.A.A. adopted a new point system whereby the girls may earn letters. Each girl, in order to win a letter, must have eight hundred points. These points are obtained through efiiciency, citizenship, and activity in class. Every Thursday during the school year, the girls meet to take part in sports that are appro- priate to the season. The regular meeting of the G.A.A. is held on the first Wednes- day of every month.
