RETAIL SELLING CLASS A retail selling class was added to the curriculum in September, 1935, with Mrs. Robert Ryan as instructor. Only seniors in the general business course are eligible for membership. The object of this course is to acquaint students with the funda- mentals of salesmanship. Last year and this year, demonstrations were given in class, illustrating the practical application of various principles of retail selling. The value of this course has been proved by the success which the members of the class have had in soliciting the advertisements for this year book. Treasurer This year there was founded in Cohoes High School a new organization, known as the Photography Club. Although this organization has been in existence only a short time, it is already making considerable progress under the able supervision of Mr. William Shahen, a member of the faculty. Photography has become a very popular hobby among people of all ages in the past few years. It is a hobby that can bc instructive and profitable, as well as enjoy- able. Consequently, we are fortunate in having the opportunity to learn something of this art while we are in school.
