STUDENT COUNCIL Ofirers WILLIAM WATRRHOUSE . . . President FRANCIS LABARRE . . Vice-President DOROTHY -IAMISON . . Secretary PETER DAHODA . . . . .... . Treasurer The Student Council, that organization of the Cohoes High School which governs the entire student body, has been an important part of school life for a number of years and has made remarkable progress. The Council, for the past two years, has been very ably directed by Miss Mary Noonan. Upon being appointed dean of the sophomore class, however, Miss Noonan felt that the responsibilities of both these groups would be too great and, therefore, resigned from her position as faculty adviser to the Student Council. Her place was taken by Miss Anne C. Smyth. Mr. Wallace Clark acts as assistant adviser to the group. The entire school appreciates the work done by this organization and realizes how valuable such a group can be in teaching real democracy in the school. The senior class extends to the members of the Student Council best wishes for con- tinued success in the future. Forty -1 1940 -e Q
