Dedication MRS. KATHLEEN FAIRBROTHER Every year, the Seniors sit down with various ideas about who should receive this high honor. Amont the candidates, there were many who made large impressions on us. Of course, we cannot use them all, so the 1971 Senior Class has chosen one, one who is very close to us. This teacher has the ability to be kind, patient and above all extremely under- standing. She spends her teaching hours with the elementary children, and all her spare time trying to help guide the Seniors. She is one in a million, and Cohocton Central School is lucky to have her. We could go on and on about this lady, but there is no sense in repeating ourselves. If you know her, you’ll understand what we are trying to say. Therefore, the graduating class of 1971, dedicates our yearbook and our love to our advisor, Mrs. Kathleen Fairbrother.

Appreciation Some may think it strange that a class has two appreciations, but we have another male teacher that we would like to express gratitude to. He helped us out over the rough spots when we needed someone to turn to. He sat us down many a time for some serious talks. He told us why everyone thought we were rotten, but for the first time, he was the one who told us what was good about us as a whole. He is known for his dry humor and sparkling personality.
