V ? 5 Once upon a time in September 1948, thirty-seven little cherubs began their journey through the halls of the castle at C. C. S. The fairy godmother recorded their names as: D. Angelo, R. Cragg, C. Fairman, R. Giacomi, F. Green, R. Harmon, R. Russell, R. Schneider, W. Shanley, L. Sick, C. Sirois, R. Towner, V. Vogt, D. Wager, J. Wagner, K. Wheaton, F. Williams, E. Williams, E. Williams, J. McDonald, C. McDonald, T. Moschiano, B. Drum, L. Field, J. Flint, S. Fox, C. Grime, J. Matthews, V. Peale, S. Rawleigh, D. Rucker, D. Slyter, B. Smalt, J. Wagner, H. Wagner, B. Banks, J. Gorneau, V. Cheasman. As the years flew by, the cherubs reached a higher level of life, the second floor of the castle. In our first year of high-school, we were under the rule of Beverly Drum. Members of the court were, Sandra Fox as Vice-President, Judy Putnam as Secretary, Tom Moschiano as Treasurer, our Lord-overseer was Mr. Day. The rule in our Sophomore year was Joyce Matthews. Members of the court were. Bill Hickey as Vice-President, Carroll Sirois as Secretary, and Charles Saxton as Treasurer. This year we chose Miss Ciocci as our over- seer. One night the castle really jumped as we held our Sophomore dance. In our Junior year we chose Charles Saxton as ruler, and Beverly Drum, Judy Putnam, and Jimmy Wagner as members of his court. Miss Ciocci was again chosen as overseer. This year we staged our play “We’re Only Young Once’’ which was a huge success. On the night of April 24, 1959, Joyce Mat- thews and Jimmy Wagner reigned at our Junior Prom, which was also a big success. In our Senior year Bill Shanley was elected as leader of the cherubs. Elected members of his court were. Bill Hickey, Joyce Matthews, and Judy Putnam. Miss Ciocci was chosen again as our overseer. We got this year off to a fine start by selling magazine subscriptions which brought in a huge profit. We next began our biggest project, the yearbook, with Tom Moschiano as our master. It was much fun working on it, but it was also much work. We are now looking forward to meeting the big dragon called Regents, which we will slay and pass our final test so we can graduate from the castle in June.
