In October the group began with a unique production of TWELVE ANGRY JURORS which involved the audience directly with the actors. From here CHS actors and acctresses moved on to present two new one act plays and welcomed the authors of these works to view and discuss them with the performers and the audience. The first play, ACT THREE, SCENE FIVE, featured a rehearsal of ROMEO AND JULIET. The second show, FORTRESS, later moved on to the Finals of the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival and numerous acting awards for CHS performers. One judge called it an exciting, vibrant piece of work! Joe May. .a and Michele Casolaro were praised for their individual work while the rest of the cast was labeled as brilliant ' ' ' ' and greeted with comments such as This is the best ensemble work I have seen in five years of judging for the Drama Festival.
