The Class of ' 81 has often had difficulties in agreeing on an issue, especially those issues concerning the yearbook. However, we hit the jackpot with our dedication. We have, as a class, chosen a person with all the traits necessary for the honor: sincerity, honesty, and a sense of responsibility . Man) teachers, of B course, share these qualities but our choice has a special quality that does not take merely intelligence or competence to acquire, but rather a true devotion to one ' s work. In our choice for dedication, we ' ve found a person with such devotion: a woman with the sincere desire to aid and improve her students. She has served as a Senior Advisor for our Class. By doing this, she lent her expertise and experience to decisions dealing with the important times in our lives such as Graduation and the Prom. tf ' This woman was part of another portion of our lives at CHS that was not as happy. When tragedy was at hand, she served not only as an Advisor, but also as a friend. I nashamed to shed tears because of her will- ingness to show her emotions, she proved an important figure during this time. She was determined to pro- ceed with dignitv — and help others too, once the tragedy had passed. Without a doubt, the Class of ' 81 has chosen a special person to receive the dedication of this yearbook. After all, the capacity to care is what gives life its deepest meanings. ' This lady has given a lot of mean- ing to the Class of ' 81 as a whole and to many of its individuals. Our way of thanking you is simple.
