Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful ivorld. DESIDERATA, Max Ehrmanq We, the class of 1966, dedicate our yearbook to a person who is himself dedicated. Ideally, the classroom situation reflects a never-ceasing effort by the teacher to teach and inspire and a continuing attempt by the student to learn. How- ever, this is not always the case. There are the indifferent students, and herein lies the challenge for the dedicated teacher. The teacher sows the seeds of motivation through patience and under- standing but, even more, by his sincere effort. To him, each student is an individual challenge. Soon, apathy gives way to curiosity, confusion steps aside for enlightenment, and drudgery turns to delight. Learning has taken place.
