[■ ' OR K W OR () As we, the Seniors, finish our journey through Cohasset High, we leave behind many unforgettable and precious memories. As lowly freshmen, we crept about the corridors, afraid to speak in overtones. As sophomores, we were beginning to understand the school rules and regulations. As juniors, we became more competent and assured, for we were part of the upperclass. Today, the faculty are no longer strangers, but friends. Life at C.H.S. has been the stepping stone from childhood into the waiting years of life. What is in store for us is unknown, but one thing is certain: If we make use of the opportunities provided by the school, we will be prepared for a successful future. To preserve these fond memories of life at Cohasset High, we present to you, students and faculty, the 1955 TESSAHOC in an attempt to portray the events as we lived them.

DEDICATION Because we ' d like to show, by just a small token, our deepest admiration for a man who is one of the first in our hearts as representing understanding, we, The Class of 1955, dedicate this, our yearbook, to Mr. Donald McNeil. We knowyou, Mr. McNeil, as having been vice principal of C. H. S. for the last four years, as having taught here for ten years, and as being a competent and efficient worker for and with us. But, beyond this, we ' ll remember you for those times when we ' d come in to find you changing a raspberry color to neutral and then changing it back again; when we ' d walk in for a late pass only to see a cover flying through the air; to see some water boiling and freezing at the same time; to see a can collapsing or a beaker or bottle bursting. All these things are your way of teaching us. It is to make us teach ourselves by wonder- ing how and why any and all of these things happen. Remembering some more, we ' ll think of the all-around fellow you are, for no matter what we seem to do, you ' re connected in some way. At all our sport activities you ' re present, ready to help and cheer us on. In the regular school day we ' re bound to see you, either at the office or from behind a cloud of smoke or some indescribable odor. Most of all, though, we ' ll think and wonder some more at your ability to set us all at ease, with your easy manner and dry, many times unexpected, humor. Thanks, many times over, to one of our truest and most unforgettable, friends. THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1955
