DELTA EP ILON CHI clayton jamison is a celebrity in delta epsilon chi because he ranked number one in state competition as a sales -. manager trainee and in the top eight in national contests. problems the contestants faced pertained to business or business operation. do you see the family resemblance? members are: fkneelingy merrill bishop and marc neifingg fstanding left to rightj clayton jamison, john carey, carol crager, larry endicott. delta epsilon chi had its beginnings twenty five years ago. on this anniversary date in 1946, mr. milton karstadt took a delegation from ccjc to the national conference in chicago, illinois. like any other organization, it has grown. deca, as it is commonly called, has suffered from small set backs also, but growth for something good is inevitable. not pictured are paul curry and tom schafer. the task of deca has both long and short-run goals. on the secondary thigh schoolj level it is a good preparation for people who wish to go into retailing. the post secondary level deals more with a mid-management or management role with prerequisite of experience. finally the col- lege level deca, recently established, gives the student the abilities to instruct others in the deca field. this college level distributive education is closely aligned with management training. mike clough knows a good thing when he sees it. stripes are in for 1971 . officers - miss old, mahmood pooladi, randy mathis, suhail al-khub, l'UCnPl'Om . aram promotion of interaction between foreign and american students is the purpose of the internation- al club. this is accomplished through various activi- ties ranging from world affairs discussions to par- ties. the 1970 football homecoming queen, soosan modaberri, represents this organization. officers for 1970-71 were: mahmood pooladi, president, randy mathis, vice presidentg betsy shewell, secre- tary, suhail al-khub, treasurerg aram ruenprom, program chairman.
