The club consists of 12 members at the pre- sent time, each of whom is w i 1 1 i ng to help his fellow students. The main purpose of the Library Club is to help serve others, whether it be helping them find books, using the re- ference materials, or collecting fines. The Tri-Hi-Y was first organized in Coeburn High School in 1956 under the sponsorship of Miss Dorothy Jessee. Since that time it has be- come one of the bigger and more active clubs of the school. Our club ' s membership, con- sisting of 46 affiliated members, is the largest since its organization. The club ' s name was recently changed to the Carl R. McConnell Tri-Hi-Y in memory of our late principal. The Tri-Hi-Y is mainly a religious club, but its members have their light moments as well as their solemn ones.
