MR. A. D. BRAGG, Jr., B.A., M. A. Faced with the tremendous task of guiding us through “our day” at Coe burn High School is Mr. Bragg, one whom we have come to think of as a valued friend of “MY DAY.” We owe to him a huge debt of gratitude, not payable in money, for his years of patient listening to the difficulties that confronted us, for his mature and stable counseling in working out our problems, for his enduring understanding of our imperfections as individuals, for encouraging us when we became confused, for times when he completely ignored us which was (and we didn’t realize it then) what we needed most, for laughing with us at times and at other times literally “putting us in our places.” His wise judgment has set a standard for the pattern of “our day” at Coeburn High School, and it is with great admiration and respect that we submit this tribute to him.
