The Men's Gymnasium, completed in l93U, is completely equipped for varsity and intra-mural athletics and for a complete program of physical education. The Stewart Memorial Library was completed in l93l. It is a beautiful building, admirably was completed in 1938. Charged with educating students of Coe College in the art of living are Miss Mary Bell, Dean of Women, Mr. Myron L. Koenig, Dean of Men, and Mr. A. D. Walters, As- sistant Dean of Men. - These offices are responsible for the housing of students, correct social conduct at College affairs, and the supervision of fraternity and sorority rushing and pledging. The interpretation of college regulations as they affect students is another one of their duties. Both Dean Bell and Dean Koenig concentrate their efforts on freshmen in the hope of aiding them in scholarly and social pursuits. Dean Walters is in constant Contact with the rnen of Greene Hall. It is his duty to see that the rules and regulations of the n'1en's dormitory are carried out and he also acts as adviser to the Inter-Fraternity Council. Wise is the student who, having encountered a difficult problem, seeks the advice of the Deans for aid in its solution. 51
