Dedication The Class of 1981 dedicate this yearbook to Mr. David Smith. Mr. Smith has been a big spirit booster for Coe-Brown and the Senior Class. He has brought organization back to the school and has been a good friend to all students. He has helped many of the seniors with senior release by giving those students who have had academic problems a second chance for senior release. The current and future students at Coe-Brown will be very for- tunate to have a headmaster with so much enthusiasm and understanding that helps bring the students closer and come together as one. 4

NOTTINGHAM TOGETHER Returning back to school the next September, you eagerly await your old friends whom you have not seen much over the summer. As the years quickly pass and you graduate, you will look back not at the person in your class from another town, but instead you will see your friend who graduated from Coe-Brown Northwood Academy with you.

COMING TOGETHER FOR GOOD TIMES As the homework piles up and the weekend nears, students long to break the pat- tern of a school day and come together during the weekend to catch a movie, munch out, or maybe even shoot some pinball. During basketball season crowds of students come to the gym and cheer on their teams; during dances they come to hear great music and be with their friends. Throughout the week telephone lines everywhere are busy, and on them students are discussing their lives. There are many aspects of a student’s life that surround us. The things they wear, the days, the weeks, and the months of the year are all pieces of a stu- dent's life.
